GANGTOK,: Sikkim recorded 115 Covid positive cases from the 620 samples tested on Sunday. The State’s positivity rate was 18.5%, informed the Health department.
The district-wise Covid report was 62 cases in east district, 45 cases in west district, seven cases in south district and one case in north district.
With 331 recoveries on Sunday, there are now 2107 active Covid cases in Sikkim. Among them, 16 patients have moderate symptoms while 16 patients are showing severe symptoms.
One more Covid death was reported from STNM Hospital. The deceased was a 31-year-old female patient from Tadong area, Gangtok. So far, 14 Covid patients have passed away this month. The State’s Covid death toll has reached 423, informed the Health department.
At present there are 126 Covid patients admitted in hospitals here including 16 patients in the ICU.
