NAMO DIXIT
NAMCHI:  National Innovators Foundation (NIF) will be supporting for incubation and dissemination of two innovative disinfection solutions by common people of Sikkim which were received as a response to its Challenge Covid-19 Competition (C3).
Both the innovations from Sikkim were given recognition in the page of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India following their selection in the NIF C3 Challenge. The two innovations are vehicle disinfectant bay by Bissu Hang Limboo and a foot-operated eco-friendly sanitizer dispenser by Khechuperi Bamboo House.
Vehicle disinfectant bay, a device to disinfect vehicles automatically, completes the disinfection process of a vehicle in a very short time without much effort. It is installed at two State border check posts in Sikkim.
Meanwhile, the foot-operated hands-free sanitizer dispenser stand is not only eco-friendly but also cost-effective hand sanitizer dispenser made out of bamboo. The device is effective in preventing cross contamination. It is mainly designed for use in public places.
