Scholarship Name 1:

HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2022-23

Description:

HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to help high perfoming students from underprivileged backgrounds to continue and complete their education. Open for students in Class 11-12, those pursuing undergraduate courses and competitive exam coaching.

Eligibility:

  • Indian students who are currently studying in Class 11 to undergraduate (general and professional). 
  • Students with Disabilities studying in Class 11-12, pursuing undergraduate courses,  diploma/ITI, and vocational courses. 
  • Candidates preparing for competitive examinations such as NEET, JEE, CLAT, and NIFT at a recognized coaching institution. 
  • Must have obtained at least 60% marks (80% for coaching students) in the previous class or board exams (Note: There is no minimum marks required for Students with Disabilities).
  • Annual family income of the applicants should be below INR 6,00,000 (for Students with Disabilities, it should be below INR 8,00,000), from all sources. 
  • Special consideration will be given to girl students and students who are going through any kind of crisis (lost a parent/both parents, terminal illness in family, etc.).

Scholarship Name 2:

HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECS Scholarship 2022-23

Description:

HDFC Bank invites applications from students studying in Class 1 to postgraduation level. The scholarship supports meritorious and needy students belonging to underprivileged sections of society.

Eligibility:

The scholarship is open for Indian nationals only. The students must be studying in any of the standards between Class 1 to 12, Diploma, Undergraduate or Postgraduate (including professional and non-professional courses) level. The applicants must have passed their previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks and their annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh. Preference will be given to those applicants who are facing a personal or family crisis that has occurred during the past three years, due to which they are unable to continue bearing the cost of education and are at risk of dropping out.

Description:

LIC HFL invites applications from Class 11, graduation and post-graduation students to support them in continuing their education. The scholarship is meant for those students who belong to low-income and crisis-ridden families.

Eligibility:

Open for Indian students who are currently studying in Class 11 and first year of graduation and post-graduation programmes. Applicants must have scored more than 60% marks in their previous qualifying examination. Annual family income of the applicant must not be more than INR 3,60,000 from all sources.

Description:

Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Scheme for Minorities Girls 2022-23 is an initiative of the Ministry of Minority Affairs (MoMA), Government of India for minority girl students studying in Class 9 to 12.

Eligibility:

Open for girl students belonging to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi communities. The candidates must be studying in Classes 9 to 12 and have secured atleast 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate in the previous class/qualifying exam. Their annual family income must be less than INR 2 lakh from all sources

NEC Merit Scholarship for Students of NER 2022-23

Description:

NEC Merit Scholarship for Students of NER 2022-23 is an initiative by the North Eastern Council, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India, Shillong to the eligible students of the North Eastern States pursuing diploma/degree/postgraduate course or registered M.Phil./Ph.D. programme.

Eligibility:

  • Open for candidates who are permanent residents of one of the North-Eastern states (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura).
  • Admitted to a diploma, degree, postgraduate course or register for an M.Phil. or Ph.D. programme.
  • Passed HSLC/HSSLC/Secondary School Leaving/Senior Secondary Leaving Certificate examination from a recognized State/Central Board (For Diploma courses); HSSLC/SSLC examination from a recognized State/Central Board (For Degree courses); degree level examination in any discipline (B.A./B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./M.B.B.S./LLB/BCA/BBA etc.) of any recognized Institute/University (For Postgraduate courses).
  • Hold a PG degree from any recognized University (For M.Phil./Ph.D. programmes)

Description:

NSP Pre-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities 2022-23 is an initiative of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability, Government of India for physically challenged students of Classes 9 or 10.

Eligibility:

Open for candidates who are regular full-time students of Class 9 or 10 in Government or school recognized by Government or Central/State Board of Secondary Education with more than 40% disability and a valid certificate for the same. The candidates must have an annual family income of less than INR 2.50 lakh from all sources.
