GANGTOK,: Sang Mustang FC and Gangtok
Himalyan SC played a 1-1 draw while Sikkim Aakraman FC overcame Red Panda FC
2-1 in their respective matches on Thursday during the ongoing SFA-organised A
Division S-League 2026 at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok.
The first match was between Sang Mustang FC and
Gangtok Himalayan SC.
Sang Mustang FC opened the scoring in the 57th minute
through Pratap Kumar Tamang. Gangtok Himalayan SC responded in the 75th minute,
with Ayush Bisht finding the equaliser. The match ended in a 1–1 draw, with
both teams sharing the points.
The second game was between Sikkim Aakraman FC and Red
Panda FC.
Red Panda FC took the lead in the 12th minute through
Dawa Gyaltsen Bhutia. Sikkim Aakraman FC responded with two goals before
half-time. Prashant Chettri equalised in the 24th minute, before Sagar Gurung
scored in the 44th minute to put Aakraman ahead.
Sikkim Aakraman FC maintained their lead through the
second half to secure a 2–1 victory, informed the SFA.
