Aama Samman Diwas a humble tribute to boundless love, sacrifices of mothers: CM

GANGTOK,: On the occasion of the 2nd Aama Samman Diwas and 9th Jan UnmuktiDiwas, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has extended his heartfelt greetings and deepest respects to all the mothers and people of Sikkim.

“Aama Samman Diwas is a humble tribute to the boundless love, sacrifices and strength of our Aamas. A mother is the heart of every family, whose unconditional love, silent sacrifices and prayers give us the courage to face every challenge and the strength to move forward,” the Chief Minister said in his message.

“For me, this occasion holds a deeply personal and emotional significance. The love and blessings of my beloved mother, along with the countless Aamas of Sikkim, have always been a source of immense strength and inspiration. Their faith, resilience and selfless devotion remind us that true strength often lies in the quiet sacrifices made for our families and society. Today, I bow with profound gratitude and respect to every Aama of Sikkim.”

The Chief Minister said the Stategovernment remains committed to ensuring that every mother lives with dignity, security and respect. “Through initiatives such as the Sikkim AamaSashaktikaran Yojana and Sikkim AamaSahayog Yojana, we will continue to work towards the empowerment and well-being of our Aamas.”

On the occasion, the Chief Minister called for a commitment to building a “Sunaulo Sikkim, Samriddha Sikkim and Saamarth Sikkim, where every Aama is respected, every family is strengthened and every generation grows with hope and confidence.”
