APS Tshering Wangchuk meets Gangtok DC to discuss district development agendas

GANGTOK, : Chief Minister’s Additional Political Secretary (Gangtok district) Tshering Wangchuk Lepcha on Monday met Gangtok DC Tushar Nikhare at his office to deliberate on various agendas concerning the Gangtok District Administration.

The meeting primarily focused on the flagship initiatives of Chief MinisterPrem Singh Tamang-Golay, including the NashaMuktAbhiyan, Connect to Earth campaign, and other key environmental as well as socio-economic policies aimed at improving the well-being of citizens across the district.

On the occasion, Tshering Wangchuk extended his heartfelt congratulations to Gangtok DC Nikhare on being conferred with the prestigious CIPS Innovation Award for Public Service at a ceremony held in Srinagar. The award recognizes excellence in innovative governance and citizen-centric initiatives.

Welcoming Tshering Wangchukon his second tenure as Additional Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, the DC assured his full support and cooperation in implementing people-centric policies and developmental programs for the greater good of Gangtok District, a press release informs.

TsheringWangchuk had recently taken charge as the Additional Political Secretary for Gangtok district.
