BJP holds Ayushman Bharat & E-Shram Card drive at Majhitar

GANGTOK, : In a continued effort to empower the people of Sikkim through transformative Central government schemes, BJP Sikkim successfully organized an Ayushman Bharat and E-Shram Card drive at Majhitar under West Pendam constituency on Sunday.

The event was graced by the presence of State BJP president DR Thapa, along with senior party executives, district president, Mandal president, and supported by the dedicated IT team, a State BJP press release informs.

Addressing the gathering, Thapa elaborated on the various welfare schemes introduced by the Modi Government, urging the people of Sikkim to take full advantage of these initiatives. He emphasized the transformative ‘Lakhpati Didi scheme’, designed to empower women economically, and highlighted self-employment opportunities through various loan schemes tailored for youth and aspiring entrepreneurs. 

Thapa also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the farmers of Sikkim for receiving the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi benefits, a significant step towards supporting agricultural communities and ensuring their financial stability. 

The Ayushman Bharat and E-Shram Card drive is part of BJP Sikkim’s ongoing commitment to bring the benefits of Central government schemes to every household, fostering inclusive growth and development across the state. The event saw active participation from the local community, reflecting their trust in these initiatives and the party’s efforts to uplift their lives, said the State BJP.
