GANGTOK,: As a part of celebrating 11 years of the Modi government, BJP Gangtok
District team organised an Ayushman Bharat and E-Shram registration camp at the
Helipad area under Upper Burtuk constituency on Saturday.
State BJP
president DR Thapa led the initiative, joined by party executives, Mandal
presidents, and the IT support team. This event focused on providing essential
benefits of the Central Schemes to deserving beneficiaries from surrounding
areas, reflecting the party's commitment to grassroots engagement and citizen
welfare, a State BJP press release informs.
Individuals
received Ayushman Bharat Cards, offering free medical treatment up to Rs
5 lakhs per year,
significantly easing the financial burden of healthcare. Additionally, eligible
individuals were registered under the E-Shram scheme, which provides insurance
coverage and financial security to workers in the unorganized sector.
The
successful organization of the drive highlights the BJP Gangtok District team's
dedication to serving the community and implementing Modi government welfare
schemes effectively. The Statewide initiative of Ayushman Bharat Camp has been
beneficial for the marginalized sections as well as the senior citizens of 70+.
Earlier
today, BJP Gangtok District team, led by senior party members, embarked on a
plantation drive in the Bakthang area, demonstrating their commitment to
environmental conservation and inspiring positive change. The initiative was
joined by State vice president Dinesh Chandra Nepal, media in-charge Niren
Bhandari, coordinator Sangey Pulger, district president Pempo Dorjee Lepcha
alongside mandal presidents, party executives and karyakartas.
