CM attends Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025

NEW DELHI,  (IPR): Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golayon Friday attended the Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, an event aimed at accelerating growth and investment across India’s North Eastern region. The summit is being hailed as a landmark initiative to chart a new course of economic opportunity and sustainable development for the region.

The event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the presence of Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with the Chief Ministers of all eight North Eastern States.

The Chief Minister expressed deep appreciation towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Centre’s focused approach to the development of the North East. “This platform not only connects our region with national and global investors but also strengthens our resolve to build a self-reliant and vibrant future for our people,” he said.

He further expressed that Sikkim is committed to aligning with the broader regional vision and looks forward to leveraging new partnerships to benefit the State’s farmers, youth, and entrepreneurs.

“With renewed energy and collective purpose, the North East stands ready to become a key driver of India’s economic progress,” the Chief Minister added.
