GANGTOK, : Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya called on Defence minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi today.
During the meeting, the Governor extended an invitation to the Defence minister to inaugurate ‘Prerna Sthal’ at Bardang, Singtam. This memorial is dedicated to the brave soldiers who lost their lives during the unfortunate incident that unfolded in the State in October 2023.
The Governor also commended the Defence minister for his effective leadership capabilities, citing him as an inspirational figure, informs a press release.
