GANGTOK,: Indra Hang Subba, representing Sikkim in the Lok Sabha, attended the
first meeting of the Estimates Committee on Friday at the Parliament House
Annexe Building in New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal,
the chairperson of the committee, a press release informs.
Indra Hang
was elected to this important committee after the end of the 2024 Budget
Session of Parliament.
The
Estimates Committee is one of the most important parliamentary committees, with
the responsibility of examining the estimates related to various Ministries of
