The Manjusri Public School’s under-14 girls’ team won the CBSE Cluster I
Volleyball Tournament held at Kaziranga English School, Guwahati after a
thrilling final victory against Delhi Public School, Dhaligaon. Dechen Zangmu
received player of the tournament honour for her dominant court leadership and
game-changing performances throughout the championship.
Similarly,
the school finished runners-up in the under-14 boys’ category. They lost the
final against Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri.
In
the under-19 girl’s tournament, Manjusri Public School secured a third-place
finish.
“This
is a historic moment for Manjusri Public School. Standing on the podium across
three different categories in a competitive field of 89 schools reflects the
discipline, perseverance, and passion of our student-athletes," said the
MPS management.
“We
extend our heartiest congratulations to our dedicated coaches, Karma Shenga and
SiddarthPakhrin, whose strategic guidance made these achievements possible.
Special praise also goes to Dechen Zangmu for her individual accolade, and to
all our players for representing our school with such immense pride.”
