GANGTOK,: The auditions for the 13th
edition of Miss Sikkim 2026, organised by Positude, was held at Lemon Tree
Hotel, Gangtok, on Sunday, with young aspirants between 17 and 27 years of age
vying for an opportunity to participate in this year’s pageant.
With the theme of providing a bigger platform and
greater opportunities, Miss Sikkim 2026 aims to create avenues for contestants
to represent Sikkim at various national and international platforms, opening up
opportunities for wider exposure and career growth.
The pageant has also introduced an enhanced prize
package combining cash rewards with professional education. The winner will
receive Rs 1 lakh in cash along with Rs 2 lakh worth of trading courses,
sponsored by SSBC, taking the total prize value to Rs 3 lakh.
The first runner-up will receive a total prize package
worth Rs 2 lakh, comprising Rs 50,000 in cash and Rs 1.5 lakh worth of
professional market education, while the second runner-up will receive a
package worth Rs 1.25 lakh, including Rs 25,000 in cash and Rs 1 lakh worth of
professional market education.
The additional educational component is aimed at
providing the winners with practical knowledge and skills in professional and
financial markets, alongside the exposure and opportunities associated with the
pageant.
Kiwa and Ramji Sunnar are the sponsors of Miss Sikkim
2026.
The grand finale is scheduled for October 4, where the
winner and runners-up will be crowned. Organisers have positioned this year’s
edition as a platform for young women to build confidence, gain exposure and
pursue opportunities beyond Sikkim.
The auditions mark the beginning of the contestants’
journey towards the Miss Sikkim 2026 crown.
