GANGTOK,: Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Indra Hang Subba on Monday met the
Director General of the Sashastra Seema Bal, Sanjay Singhal, in New Delhi to
review the status of various proposals concerning the development of
infrastructure and connectivity in the Indo-Nepal border areas of Sikkim.
During
the meeting, the Lok Sabha MP sought updates on pending proposals and
emphasized the need for their timely implementation to strengthen
infrastructure and improve connectivity in strategically important border
regions.
The
Director General assured him that the proposals are receiving due attention and
reaffirmed the SSB’s commitment to coordinating with the concerned authorities for
their expeditious execution, a press release informs.
Indra
Hang reiterated his commitment to pursuing issues related to the development of
border infrastructure and connectivity in Sikkim, the release mentions.
