GANGTOK,: Sikkim Vigilance Police have arrested a Revenue Inspector of the Power department on allegations of corruption and misappropriation of government revenue.
The accused official was presently serving at Dentam division office, as per the Sikkim Vigilance Police.
On Sunday, the Sikkim Vigilance Police sleuths conducted raids at the residence of the accused official and seized several incriminating material, including documents, mobile phone and a laptop used in the commission of the alleged crime.
The accused official is being held in custody for further investigation, said the Sikkim Vigilance Police.
