GANGTOK,: Sajjan Raj Vaidya, who is scheduled to perform live in Gangtok on Saturday (November 15) as part of his ‘Let’s Get Loud India Tour 2025’, was warmly welcomed by KStars Entertainment and Art, Culture and Heritage Board chairperson Sanjay Dipali Rai, in the presence of invited guests at the Rangpo Tourism Information Centre on Monday.

Organised by Gangtok-based KStars Entertainment, in collaboration with PVE Network, the event will be held at Tadong College Ground, Gangtok.

After a sold-out show in Siliguri recently, the Gangtok gig is expected to be one of the biggest live music nights Sikkim has ever witnessed.

“We had a sold-out show in Siliguri before coming to Sikkim. It was a major success; not because of us, but because of the audience who came to the show. The ambience was so warm. We are thankful to everyone who attended the event. We are even more excited for Sikkim because we’ve seen and heard how people connect with music here. We have heard such great things, and expecting an even bigger crowd here in Sikkim, and we are very excited!” expressed Sajjan Raj Vaidya.

“We have a few surprises for our fans in Sikkim. We came early because we wanted to explore your beautiful city. We are here to connect with the people, and hopefully, by the end of the tour, you’ll see what we are doing. We have waited long enough to come here and perform, and hopefully, we’ll carry the same energy. We can’t wait to sing for you. We might have one or two new releases coming in the next few days as part of the Sikkim-Siliguri tour. If the weather favours us in Sikkim, we have a feeling we might be able to capture something special here,” he added.

“One of the biggest connection factors for us has been the chance to learn people’s stories. The fact that people listen to us is a privilege. I hope you’ll come for the show. It’s going to be a special evening,” concluded Sajjan Raj Vaidya.

Chairperson Sanjay Dipali Rai expressed that concerts like this will boost the State’s economy.

“As soon as Sajjan’s concert in Sikkim was announced, tickets were booked; not just from Sikkim, but from across India and abroad as well. The local economy is getting a boost as hotels are fully booked, local taxis are being used, and Sikkim is being promoted. This aligns with the Chief Minister’s Orange Economy vision. The benefits will reach not just Gangtok but rural areas too. We congratulate KStars Entertainment on behalf of the State government,” he said.

KStars co-founder Tenzing Wangdi shared that the organisers are expecting more than 5,000 people at the venue.

“Tickets are selling every day, and Gangtok is expecting a massive crowd. Physical tickets were available at more than 32 outlets across Sikkim till today. Tickets can also be purchased online via the District App and can be delivered through DASH,” said Wangdi.
