Sikkim, a model for developed India: Governor

GANGTOK, : Expressing his congratulations and best wishes to the newly-formed SKM government, Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya conveyed his confidence in their ability to drive the State and the country towards greater progress and positive change in all areas.

“Sikkim, the leading State of the North-East region and an exemplary development model for developed India, will establish new dimensions by joining the mainstream of the country,” stated the Governor.

The Governor administered oath of office and secrecy to Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) and the Council of Ministers at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok today.
