GANGTOK,: Sikkim-based Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSSE) has earned the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) membership on January 5. The COBSE is consortium of all Boards of School Education in India. COBSE coordinate with different boards, Ministry of HRD of India and different State governments to promote and propagate school education upholding the true spirit of ‘Right to Education’, informs a press release. The BOSSE has been catering to divergent groups of students who need varied pre-degree level education and imparts skill development and vocational education. Though the Open Schooling Board is in the nascent stage, its big leaps portend that it has set eyes on big goals. The COBSE membership to BOSSE has opened national and international window for students. In a short span of two years, the BOSSE has already caught the attention of stalwart education bodies. The BOSSE already has equivalency from National Consortium of Open Schooling (NCOS) led by National institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), and Indian Nursing Council (INC) to name a few.
