SKM starts preparation for Rholu Diwas

GANGTOK, : The ruling SKM on Sunday started its preparations for the party’s calendar event ‘Rholu Diwas’ with a meeting of senior party functionaries at Rholu, South Sikkim.

SKM general secretary and SLA Speaker Arun Upreti, deputy Speaker Sangay Lepcha, minister Sanjit Kharel, MLA Aditya Golay, MLA Sunita Gazmer, CM’s political secretary Jacob Khaling, CM’s press secretary Bikash Basnet, functionaries and workers were present at the meeting.

The meeting was held to distribute responsibilities and work to the party functionaries for making the upcoming Rholu Diwas a grand success, a SKM release informs.

Addressing the gathering, Upreti expressed that all should collectively work for a successful Rholu Diwas.

Khaling, also the SKM spokesperson, added that the Rholu Diwas would certainly be successful with collective efforts from all frontal organisations.

During the discussions, the party functionaries gave their suggestions. Designation and various responsibilities were also given at the meeting, the release mentions.
