Wins for Denzong Boyz, JVC Singtam

GANGTOK,: Day two of ‘C Division’ S-League 2024 organised by Sikkim Football Association saw victories for Denzong Boyz FC and JVC Singtam here at Paljor Stadium.

Sikkim Boxing Association president Jaslal Pradhan was the chief guest of the day.

In the first match, Denzong Boyz FC trounced Pegong SC 6-0 with a brace each from Prayash Gurung and Nargel Tamang, and one goal each from Gyurmey Sangay Bhutia and Vivek Rai.

Prayash Gurung was declared the man of the match.

In the second match, JVC Singtam edged past United Pacheykhani SC 2-1 thanks to a late winner from Indra Bahadur Darjee. He was declared the man of the match.

The second round matches will resume from May 10 where Chujachen SA takes on Majhitar SC followed by the game between Hillstone FC and Sikkim Dragons FC, informs a press release.
