GANGTOK, August 31: Rinsing Sherpa of Bojoghari, East Sikkim was found dead in his bed early yesterday morning.
The deceased, a labourer, who was at present stationed at Gumsey, Regu had been working for the construction of water supply line under PHE Department.
Reports have revealed that the deceased was fine till the evening of August 29. However, he was known to be a habitual drinker.
A case under section 174 Cr PC has been registered at Rongli Police Station on Monday.
The dead body was forwarded to STNM for autopsy and later handed to the legal family of the deceased and the case is under investigation.
