GANGTOK, : A meet-and-greet with Naseeb Tamang, the winner of the recently-concluded Himalaya Roadies Season-4, was organised at a local restaurant here today.
The event was attended by Lok Sabha MP Indra Hang Subba, Naseeb’s mentor in his Himalaya Roadies journey and famous Nepalese actor Anoop Bikram Shahi and Himalaya Roadies S4 director Simesh Sunwar.
Twenty-eight-year-old Naseeb is the first Sikkimese to participate in Himalaya Roadies, a Nepalese version of the popular Indian reality show MTV Roadies. Himalaya Roadies Season-4, a “season of survival”, tested physical and mental endurance of the contestants.
Speaking on the occasion, Naseeb said, “After winning and receiving such overwhelming support from the people of Sikkim, I feel that I can inspire youngsters and others whoever is aspiring to participate in such reality shows.”
In future, Naseeb plans to work for social causes and get involved in projects collaborated between Sikkim and Nepal.
As a winner of Himalaya Roadies, Naseeb received one million Nepalese rupees and a Yamaha scooter.
