Nimsang Limboo wins gold in Kolkata Marathon

GANGTOK, : Nimsang Limboo, a promising marathoner from West Sikkim’s Darap, won a gold medal in 18-35 age category of Kolkata Marathon and finished an overall fourth.

Nimsang completed the full marathon of 42.195 kilometres in two hours and 47 minutes.

Despite his incredible performance, the youngster missed out on securing a spot in Asian Games qualifying event.

Likewise, Bikram Thapa, a staff at Sikkim University and a member of Project Life, won the 35-45 age group in his maiden full marathon run.
