Sikkim Guides captains represent India in international event

RANGPO,: The Sikkim State Bharat Scouts & Guides captains, namely Anita Pradhan, assistant State commissioner (Guides) from Dikling SSS, and Mamta Chhetri, assistant State organising commissioner (Guides) from Mulukey SS from Pakyong district, have represented India in the 'Share, Learn, Grow’ international programme held in Brunei.

The Guides captain duo was selected by the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam.

State chief commissioner Dr. H.P. Chhetri and State secretary Prakash Kazi Shakya congratulated both with the khadas and best wishes for attending the vent.

The event was graced by the Princess of Brunei Darussalam, who declared the 'Share, Learn, Grow’ international programme open.

The team members also got the opportunity to meet the Indian Ambassador.

Nine countries, viz., India, the Philippines, Singapore, the Maldives, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Brunei, participated in the programme.
