Kunzang Choeki to showcase Sikkim’s Charter school initiatives at Harvard, MIT in US
GANGTOK, : Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay has extended his best wishes to Kunzang Choeki as she embarks on an academic journey to the United States, where she will attend workshops and academic programmes at Harvard University, MIT and other prestigious institutions.According to a press release issued by the office of the Students Welfare Board chairperson, the visit will provide Kunzang an opportunity to represent Sikkim on the global stage and showcase the State’s innovative Charter School initiatives.
The programme will also enable her to share Sikkim’s educational vision and experiences while gaining insights into global educational practices.
The Board chairperson said the visit would provide an opportunity to bring back global knowledge, innovative ideas and best practices that could further strengthen and enrich Sikkim’s education system.
The chairperson wished Kunzang success in her endeavour and expressed hope that she would return with new ideas and experiences that would contribute meaningfully to the future of education in Sikkim.
