BJP holds ‘Seva&SamparkAbhiyan’ at NaminTumlabong&Rateypani

GANGTOK, : The Sikkim BJP on Saturday held its ‘Seva&SamparkAbhiyan’ facilitating Ayushman Bharat and E-Shram registration drive at NaminTumlabong, cleanest village of Sikkim under Martam-Rumtekconstituency.

The event witnessed the presence of State BJP vice president Dinesh Chandra Nepal, media in-charge NirenBhandari, spokesperson PassangGyali Sherpa, senior leader ChakrapaniBhattarai and supported by IT team members Ram Thapa, Mohan Rai and Sameer Basnet and others.

A State BJP press release informs that the program commenced with a heartfelt tribute, as attendees garlanded the statue of Captain Ram Singh Thakuri, a revered Indian freedom fighter, musician, and composer, and honored his exemplary contributions to the Indian Freedom Movement led by the Indian National Army (INA) under NetajiSubhas Chandra Bose.

The initiative successfully facilitated the issuance and distribution of Ayushman Bharat Cards for senior citizens aged 70 and above, ensuring access to free healthcare services, and E-Shram Cards for workers in the unorganized sector, providing them with social security benefits.

The local community expressed heartfelt gratitude to BJP Sikkim, under the leadership of State BJP president DR Thapa, for bringing these essential services directly to the doorsteps of marginalized sections, making a tangible difference in their lives, the release mentions.

Addressing the gathering, BJP spokesperson PassangGyali Sherpa lauded the residents of Namin-Tumlabong for their exemplary efforts in maintaining the village as the cleanest village of Sikkim. He elaborated on the transformative benefits of the Ayushman Bharat and E-Shram schemes, emphasizing how these initiatives empower vulnerable communities by providing healthcare access and financial security.

Sherpa extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for spearheading these visionary programs, ensuring a dignified life for the marginalized. The event underscored BJP Sikkim’s commitment to community welfare, earning widespread appreciation from the locals for its impactful outreach.

Similarly, BJP Namchi district team today conducted a ‘Seva&SamparkAbhiyan’ event at Rateypani Gram Panchayat Unit (GPU) in Namthang-Rateypani, Namchi district, facilitating the enrollment of local beneficiaries for Ayushman Bharat and E-Shram schemes, informs the release issued by State BJP media in-charge NirenBhandari.
