Chongrang BAC brings administrative services to remote Karjee-Mangnam&Dhuppi-Narkhola villages

GEYZING, : Block Administrative Centre (BAC) Chongrang, under Gyalshing district, extended administrative services to the residents of the remote villages of Karjee-Mangnam and Dhuppi-Narkhola through a mobile office initiative held at Pokhari village on Saturday.

The initiative was led by BDO GeetaKumariGurung and was accompanied by Panchayat inspector B.S. Subba, staff from the Social Welfare department, the Administrative and IT sections of Chongrang BAC and other officials and support staff.

The objective of the initiative was to provide essential administrative services to residents of these remote and less accessible areas. The mobile office facilitated the issuance of key documents such as Married/Unmarried Certificates, Tribal, OBC, and Income Certificates, Trade Licences, Aadhaar-related services, and more.

BDO GeetaKumariGurung stated that the initiative was aimed at bringing relief to the villagers of the Karjee-Mangnam and Dhuppi-Narkhola Gram Panchayat Units, which fall under the jurisdiction of Chongrang BAC and are located in geographically challenging areas. “By bringing the mobile office closer to the villagers, we aim to ease the process of accessing administrative services for residents of these remote GPUs,” she said.

In addition to administrative services, the Health department facilitated on-site registration for the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), along with other State and Central government health and insurance services.
