Burtuk law college students agree to 45-day additional time sought by Education dept

WANGCHEN

GANGTOK,: The student representatives of Sikkim Government Law College have agreed to the 45-day additional time sought by State Education department to resolve the infrastructure issues faced by the students.

They have also agreed to attend online classes during this 45-day period while repair and renovation work is carried out on the campus.

The students said they have informed the department that they will monitor the progress of the work being carried out during this 45-day period, while expressing their gratitude to the department for working to resolve their issues at the earliest.

The students, however, maintained that their long-term demands must also be addressed. These demands include the provision of hostels, sports facilities, activity infrastructure, and other essential facilities.
