GANGTOK, : Sixteen-year-old Sahara Hangma Subba from Sombaria, West Sikkim has made Sikkim proud as she is the first teen from the entire Northeast India to win the coveted title of Teen India, a national level beauty pageant. She was crowned at an event held at Noida on Monday evening.
Sahara also won the subtitle of Miss Teen India Congeniality. Sixteen teens from various States of India had participated in the beauty pageant.
Sahara is the reigning Miss Teen India Sikkim 2022, organised by Sikkim Glamour World. She also won the Best Ramp-walk subtitle, then. She is a class 12 student at Soreng senior secondary school.
Similarly, another Teen India Sikkim 2022 winner Jasmine Lama won the Miss Teen India Unique Talent subtitle at Teen India 2022.
Jasmine hails from Goke Bazaar, Darjeeling and had represented West Bengal in the prestigious beauty pageant.
