GANGTOK,: Sir Tashi Namgyal Senior Secondary School (TNSSS) bagged Wipro Earthian Award 2022 in a programme organised by Wipro Foundation at Bengaluru on Saturday.
TNSSS won the award for their Water & Sustainability Project facilitated by ENVIS Cell, Forest & Environment department, during July-November 2022, informs a press release.
The activity featured amongst top 20 from the 12000+ entries across the country. The event was participated by senior programme officer Rajen Pradhan, PGT (Biology) Binod Pokhrel, and five students namely Dorjee Namgyal Bhutia, Tenzing Dadul Bhutia, Kavya Agarwal, Deepak Sharma and Deo Ashish Subba.
The team also received a prize money of Rs 50,000 along with award, the release mentions.
